US Soldier's reported a Shooting Rampage in Afghanistan




President Barrack Obama condemned the slaughter of 16 Afghanistan by an American Soldier as "Tragic and Shocking".He also assured Afghan President Hamid Karzai Through telephone that the United States will "hold fully accountable for any responsible" as this bloody incident already plunged deteriorating ties into a fresh Crisis.
"
Barrack Obama as he called karzai denounced the incident as Unforgivable an "Assassination" to make clear "his Administration's commitment to establish the facts as quickly as possible and to hold fully accountable anyone responsible," White house said in a statement.Before the call, Obama received a briefing of the incident from National Security adviser Tom Donilon,Deputy National Security Advisor Denis McDonough,Special Assistant to the President for Afghanistan and Pakistan Doug Lute,according to Caitlin Hayden(National Security Council deputy spokeswoman).

Obama on his public statement said he was "deeply saddened" by the reports assured his full support behind promises commanding NATO-led forces in Afghanistan for a full Investigation.General John Allen a top US commander said on a statement that the US service member alleged to have carried out the attack was in custody.

Obama Added,"This incident is tragic and shocking, and does not represent the exceptional character of our military and the respect that the United States has for the people of Afghanistan. I fully support Secretary Panetta's and General Allen's commitment to get the facts as quickly as possible and to hold accountable anyone responsible,"

The shooting spree erupted early on Sunday when a Us soldier walked out of his base in southern Kandahar province and opened fire on men, women and children in a shocking rampage.this incident reignited a debate over the US troop withdrawal to Afghanistan,where American-led forces are scheduled to hand over security to their hosts by the end of 2014.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta stated he spoked on Karzai and offerd his "Deepest conlonces" and said that the investigation is already underway.
"I gave President Karzai my assurances that we will bring those responsible to justice. We will spare no effort in getting the facts as quickly as possible, and we will hold any perpetrator who is responsible for this violence fully accountable under the law," Panetta said.He also sain that he condemn such violence and he was shocked and sad that a U.S service member is allege to be involved clearly,acting outside his chain of command.He added that he is fully committed to ensuring their cooperation to continue.

"We will maintain custody of the U.S. service member alleged to have perpetrated this attack. And we will cooperate fully with local Afghan authorities as we ascertain all the facts,"the secretary of defense Said.
